Walter Billet Avocats enters The Best Lawyers in France 2024™

Walter Billet Avocats appears for the first time in the ranking established by Best Lawyers® for France. Two partners – Carine Cohen and Alan Walter – were honored by their peers in the 2024 edition.

The fourteenth edition of The Best Lawyers® in France, which has just been unveiled, includes for the first time two partners of Walter Billet Avocats:

  • Carine Cohen, in the “Labour and Employment Law” category;
  • Alan Walter, in the “Information Technology Law” and “Technology Law” categories.

This new distinction rewards the know-how and expertise offered by the firm, founded in January 2015.

Currently staffed with around ten legal professionals, Walter Billet Avocats aims to continue recruiting in the coming months.

 

Express biographies:

A partner of the firm since July 2018, Carine Cohen has developed the social law practice of Walter Billet Avocats, after a professional career with major law firms in Paris (Latham & Watkins, Jeantet, etc.).

She advises French and foreign companies on both collective aspects (reorganizations, business transfers, mass actions, negotiations of collective agreements, Urssaf checks, etc.) and individual aspects (negotiations in the context of the departure of a manager, individual litigation).

Carine regularly speaks at information seminars as well as during training sessions given to her clients.

 

After working in renowned law firms (Alain Bensoussan Avocats, Kahn & Associés, DLA Piper), Alan Walter co-founded Walter Billet Avocats in January 2015.

He assists companies, both in advice and in litigation, on issues relating to IT, regulations relating to the Internet and innovative technologies, the protection of personal data, intellectual property (copyright and brands).

Alan works as a lecturer in the Master 2 “Digital Law” at the University of Paris-Nanterre.
