Walter Billet Avocats (Fabien Billet) advises the recruitment platform Muzzo for its 2.1 millions euros seed financing

The Parisian start-up dedicated to recruitment Muzzo raises 2.1 millions euros in order to keep on developing its AI propelled marketplace. Advised by Walter Billet Avocats, it succeded in receiving these funds from Breega Capital, lead investor, Bpifrance and business angels.

Founded in November 2020 by Antoine Gigonas and Pierre-Louis Le Portz – two entrepreneurs part of the tech industry -, Muzzo provides a recruitment solution thanks to a marketplace dedicated to employers and headhunters’ matching.

Muzzo had simply noted that employers looking for uncommon profiles that might be essential for their own growth face a complicated and time consuming process in order to identify and recruit these people.

Antoine Gigomas, CEO and cofounder, said: “Hiring is the main problem for growing firms in France and in Europe: they may be unable to grow quickly as they don’t recruit quickly. Our challenge is to make our clients speed up and help them innovating and market shares wining thanks to quick recruitments.”

Muzzo proposes an algorithm able to scan each job offer and to list the most performing headhunters in every single job category, considering their geolocalisation, experience, sectorial expertise and track record.

Thanks to its platform and matching algorithm, Muzzo is able to present candidates who correspond to firms’ needs within only a few days.

Muzzo’s web and online platform has been initiated recruitments for a diversified clients panel including Leroy Merlin, Qonto, Payfit, Xerfi and the French ministry of Culture. This year Muzzo helped more than 115 enterprises recruiting while dividing by 2 the delay required for such a process.

Despite its young age, Muzzo presents a 1 million euros turnover. Thanks to this fund raising Muzzo will develop its activities in some new vertical businesses: health, transport, advice, finance and accountancy, food and construction industries. In the meantime the firm aims at enlarge its team of independent headhunters and specialized recruiters in integrating more than 600 new partners in its platform.

Walter Billet Avocats advises Muzzo for this fund raising with a team including Fabien Billet, partner, Christophe Cussaguet and Miguel Goncalves.
