Loi Rixain: new legal obligations for women-men equality – Carine Cohen’s analysis

Ten years after the Copé-Zimmermann law, which defined quotas of women within boards of directors and supervisory boards, the law n° 2021-1774 enacted on December 24th, 2021 (called “loi Rixain”), aiming at accelerating economic and professional equality, implements new obligations for firms and reinforces some of existing measures.

Carine Cohen analyzed and detailed to AFMD’s members these new obligations, the resources needed to be compliant as well as the potential impacts of this law.
