Cnil considers that Google Analytics does not fit with the European law – Alan Walter’s explanations

On February 10th the French authority Cnil diffused a note about Google Analytics considering that this tool is not compliant with the European legislation about personal data.

This decision is not a surprise at all but it can have deep consequences within the economy as many websites use this tool. Nevertheless, “Cnil does not explain how to proceed to be 100% compliant“, explains Alan Walter.
