Chez Nestor, the leading pioneer of coliving in France, totalize more than 1.300 rooms in 6 towns. Advised by Walter Billet Avocats and Parallel Avocats on legal concerns, he joins the european platform DoveVivo – whose French subsidiary was launched in 2020.
DoveVivo, the management platform for the residential world in Europe, announces the acquisition of Chez Nestor, the French pioneer and leader of coliving. Founded in Lyon in 2012 by Hubert Dubois and Louis Bonduelle, it has progressively developed a service to help young people and digital nomads easily find all-inclusive, well-furnished accommodation with tailor-made premium services. The company has grown very fast in recent years and is now present with a team of 40 people in Lyon, Paris, Montpellier, Toulouse, Bordeaux and Lille.
DoveVivo launched its subsdiary in France in 2020 led by the Country Director Axelle Baillet and now has 500 beds between Paris and Lille. This acquisition will allow the two teams to join forces to accelerate growth in the French coliving market.

The acquisition of Chez Nestor is part of the Group’s industrial development and internationalisation process. DoveVivo recently announced the conclusion of a new strategic investment of €50 million from controlled affiliates of Starwood Capital Group, a global private investment firm focused on real estate and energy investments, which owns about 22% of the company besides DV Holding SpA, a vehicle controlled by the founders Valerio Fonseca and William Maggio, and Tamburi Investment Partners SpA and Tikehau Capital – which joined the Group in 2019.
