Targeting a very fragmented and consolidating market, the e-commerce brand accelerator Blix has just finalized its first three acquisitions with the support of Entrepreneur Invest, which provided a significant amount to finance these first takeovers.
It has just acquired the assets of companies operating mainly on Amazon and in D2C in the fields of well-being (men’s skincare, fitness accessories and sportswear). Thanks to their in-depth knowledge of the sector of activity, the founders of Blix were able to identify the areas for improvement and development of these brands, which already generate several million euros in turnover. Today, the goal is to grow these through omnichannel sales (marketplace, D2C, physical networks, etc.).
Guillaume Rocheteau, CEO of Blix, explains: “We very quickly realized that Entrepreneur Invest was the ideal partner for the Blix project. They demonstrated a very strong understanding of our strategic issues and our market. In addition, their recent success in external growth files will enable us to benefit from their financial approach and their operational vision. Entrepreneur Invest, with more than one billion euros under management, is providing an initial amount with the ambition of financing the next series of acquisitions.”
Through this operation, Entrepreneur Invest confirms the ambition of its managers and teams to pursue their mission of investor-support. The new Blix shareholder, who is a financial and extra-financial partner, will support it in its strategic thinking, the acceleration of synergies between the different brands and the constitution of its brand portfolio.
Marouane Bahri, Partner at Entrepreneur Invest, continues: “At Entrepreneur Invest, we bet above all on a team. For Blix, we strongly believe in the expertise and perfect complementarity of leaders who know precisely which technical, commercial, marketing and logistical levers to activate to develop their brands. Each has an excellent track record in their field. For Entrepreneur Invest, it is about going back to the beginning of history and providing know-how and expertise in the field of digital and build-up.”
With the support of Entrepreneur Invest, Blix aims to develop and optimize recent acquisitions while continuing a phase of rapid external growth, mainly targeting B2C brands in the field of well-being (beauty and cosmetics, home and kitchen, health and hygiene, sports and leisure), growing and profitable.
Walter Billet Avocats advised Entrepreneur Invest for this operation, with a team composed of Fabien Billet, partner, and Christophe Cussaguet.
